Twitter picture sharing in WP7 Mango to pose privacy risk?

image9The built-in twitter integration in Windows Phone 7 Mango is great, but there is one angle which might come back to bite you.

When sharing a picture using the built-in client the picture is stored on SkyDrive and a link to your “Twitter Uploads” gallery on the service is sent out.

Once there you can usually see a user’s real name, and then also browse the rest of his public folder.

While both of these in and off themselves are not surprising, if you are using twitter anonymously it is a gotcha that you should be  aware of, and a check of your privacy settings on SkyDrive may be in order before you send that first tweeted picture .
