As you know, Twitch was testing out their desktop client for a while now but it’s finally out of beta. That took a long time I must say! The program features exclusive features like a Dark Mode which makes watching streams easier in low-light conditions. The desktop version also has text and voice chat that stays online even when servers are down. It’s somewhat like Discord now.

The program works on Windows and Mac so you can enjoy it regardless of what machine you use. It’s a shame that Mixer doesn’t offer something like this because it already has a lot of the features Twitch just added. Having a solid application like the one available on iOS would attract more users to the service. Anyway, you can download the Twitch desktop experience here.
