According to regular tipster and Japanese resident Tezawaly twitter has become increasingly important in Japan during the current crisis, with cell phone connections many times not available while data works fine, and the micro-blogging network has taken on the role of basic infra-structure in recent weeks.
It is therefore timely that a Japanese developer has released Tweets Floods to Marketplace. The software allows Japanese Windows Phone 7 users to tweet in Japanese using the custom control "JpTextBox" and Social IME, which allows specially marked text to be converted to Japanese.
