Product placement has been a major thrust of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 promotions.

The latest is the HTC 8X showing up in new hit TV show Revenge, where the handset was being used by Victoria Grayson to watch a compromising video.

There was a time when it seemed everyone in TV land used a Mac and iPhone. Now with Microsoft’s spending the situation is very much reversed.  Lets hope it has a significant impact on the audience to justify the millions I am sure it is costing.
