Texas Instruments has demoed its OMAP processor capabilities on a tablet running Windows 8. Its a Toshiba’s Windows RT tablet running on TI’s OMAP 4470 SoC. As you can see in the video above, Windows 8 runs fast and fluid on a low power ARM processor same as that of running on a powerful x86 chip. Microsoft was working with chip makers, OEMs, etc, to provide this level of great experience on Windows 8 devices. Also Microsoft is yet to reveal the full details on Windows RT OS and the Office bundle which comes with it.
