Today Microsoft released three new starter kits for Windows Phone developers. These starter kits will help developers to get started easily in building a application for Windows Phone. These starter kits can be turned into a real app with minimum work and even allows us to fully customize the results in the end.

Following are the new kits released,

Windows Phone Starter Kit for Podcasts
The Windows Phone Starter Kit for Podcasts allows you to easily create a Window Phone application for any podcast that provides a valid RSS Feed. This kit provides background audio, live tile updates, history tracking, twitter integration and much more.

Starter Kit for WordPress
This Starter Kit takes a basic WordPress website and turns it into a Windows Phone application. All you need to do to get started is update a few simple configurations and apply your own theme. The WordPress Plugin and full source code are included in this download, as well as available on GitHub.

Starter Kit for Schools
This Starter Kit is targeted at schools, universities, teams, clubs and other organizations that want to develop a customized mobile identity. Content is driven by simple configuration settings and includes support for multiple RSS feeds and the application is fully customizable. All source code and a sample theme is included as well as being available on GitHub.
