howold

At Build 2015, Microsoft showed off a new website that is a bit surprising. The company introduced how-old.net which lets you check how old you look. The website uses Microsoft’s Face Detection API – it lets you search Bing for pictures of people, and you can upload your own picture as well.

Now, there has been a lot of articles about this site and how it fails to detect the correct age of someone. Some users have also tried to check their cats’ and dogs’ age but failed. I will also admit that the site can’t really detect the correct age of someone. When I tried it with one of my profile pictures, it said I’m 28 old – which is wrong. So I tried with my other picture and it said I’m 22 years old – wrong again. But it’s worth noting that the website does get it right for some people – especially the people at Microsoft.

Head over to this link to check how old you look! And tell us what you think about this in the comment section below!
