The dates for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 open beta have been revealed, with players being able to experience the game from March 1st until March 4th.
The open beta marks the last time players will be able to play before The Division 2 officially releases on March 15th.
The game takes place 7 months after its predecessor. Set in Washington D.C, The Division 2 takes place during a civil war between survivors of the events of the last game and gangs of murderous marauders.
Players assume the roles of agents of The Division and can work together to complete objectives. The game also features raids. Up to 8 players can take part in raids.
As we previously reported on, Ubisoft has plans to keep The Division 2 going for a number of years. The studio have already outlined their plans for 2019, with players set to receive 3 free DLCs that will be packed to the brim with new locations, activities, and stories.
The level cap isn’t expected to be a problem, either. Ubisoft have promised “plenty of end-game content” and, upon hitting level 30, players will be able to pick a Specialization. Each Specialization has its own progression path with specially-crafted skill mods, talents, and weapons.
You can check out the PC requirements for the game here. The Division 2 will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
