The American Carrier T-Mobile is ditching its Windows phone app. Shortly after launching the Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 and renovating its WIndows phone app last year, the firm is now pulling its app from the store and cutting off support.

WIndows phone users of the app will see the following message:

Thanks for being an awesome T-Mobile customer! We’re always finding new ways to provide you with the best experience possible. Unfortunately, our Windows app will no longer be supported beginning 8/25/2017. Moving forward, you’ll be able to manage your account at My.T-Mobile.com.

Windows phones have become increasingly rare in the market nowadays, with that in mind, it makes sense for T-Mobile and other carriers to begin to drop them as Microsoft’s mobile efforts fade into fond (or not so fond) memories.
