Surface Firmware updates for April arrive for the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4

Microsoft has released the April firmware updates for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book via Windows update. These updates are aimed at improving system stability when the devices wake, as well as the reliability of the hibernation functionality.

Here’s what’s changed for 1both devices.

Surface Book:

  • Surface System Aggregator Firmware (v90.1610.256.0) resolves screen brightness issue when devices come out of sleep.
  • Intel(R) Precise Touch Device (v1.2.0.83) improves system stability and performance.
  • Surface Integration (v1.1.328.0) adjusts system hibernation defaults.

Surface Pro 4

  • Surface System Aggregator Firmware (v103.1610.256.0) resolves screen brightness issue when devices come out of sleep.
  • Intel(R) Precise Touch Device (v1.2.0.83) improves system stability and performance.
  • Surface Integration (v1.1.121.0) adjusts system hibernation defaults.
