Strange WP7 lock screen bug may expose user info

Its seems the Samsung Omnia 7 has a strange lock screen bug where, if a user has password-protected the device, the phone will briefly show your Start screen before showing the lock screen when woken up from suspend.

Given the information-richness of the Start screen this can obviously expose data which the user, who after all chose to PIN protect their device, may have wanted to keep private.

The solution, according to XDA-Dev, is rather unusual.  Apparently the issue is masked if, in Settings, Automatic Adjustment is turned ON.

Hopefully this is something Microsoft also has on their lists of bugs to fix.

Are any of our readers having the bug? Let us know below.
