In an interview with Bloomberg, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer spoke about Amazon, Apple, Uber and more. When asked about Apple, Steve acknowledged that they have done a good job. He also said, “Microsoft will give them a good run for their money” and that “nobody else has really tried to compete with them anymore really seriously in hardware.” He mentioned that Surface Book is a new category created by Microsoft.

When asked about Amazon, he said that there’s a fierce competition going on between Microsoft Azure and AWS. But he said that “I think they are a place that people don’t want to work” and that “anybody who ever left Microsoft, we could count on them coming back within a year or two because it’s not a great place to work.”

When asked whether he loves or hates Uber, he said he loves Uber, but he really don’t understand the market capital of it.
