Today, 5th of June, is World Environment Day. The theme for this year’s World Environment Day is air pollution, and China are hosting celebrations.

Steam are celebrating with a special sale where you can save up to 90% on nature-themed games from now until Friday, 4PM PT.

You can get 30% off the underwater exploration/survival game Subnautica. In Subnautica, you’re free to roam the ocean on a planet known simply as Planet 4546B. The game has four modes: Survival, Freedom, Hardcore, and Creative, so whether you prefer fighting for your life or peacefully enjoying the waves, there’s a mode for you.

ABZÛ, the deeply moving game where you explore beautiful underwater environments and restore life to the ocean, is an entire 50% off. If you enjoyed Journey, ABZÛ is a must-play, seeing as it’s essentially Journey’s underwater cousin.

You can also pick up the game Everything for 75% off. In Everything, you play as, well, everything. You have the power to control any creatures or objects around you and you can use this power to navigate universes. You can also just leave the game to play itself.

Just be aware that some of the animations in Everything are quite simplified, so you may see things such as an entire field of wildly cartwheeling cows. Just roll with it (no pun intended).

If you’re in the mood to be both horrified, saddened, and moved, Shelter is 80% off. In Shelter, you play as a mother badger who must protect and feed her cubs while guiding them to their new burrow. Just be warned: you’ll never be able to look at a badger again without crying.
