Statcounter data also show a spike in UK Windows Phone installed base

We have had numerous reports of good Nokia Lumia sales over the last 3 weeks since the launch of the handset.

Information via StatCounter provides another data point, and it shows an appreciable increase over the last 3 weeks of Windows Phones hitting Statcounter’s detectors, after steadily dropping for the preceding 3. The increase from 0.45 to 0.57% of the market is more than 25%, indicating that  the Windows phone community may have grown by a similar factor over the last few weeks.

Of course we are still only talking about half a percent of the market by usage, but we will certainly be keeping a close eye on the trend and see if it continues over the next few weeks.
