Talk about getting kicked while you’re down; after filing for reconstruction yesterday Swedish video game company Starbreeze has been raided by Swedish authorities.

The raid occurred earlier today after suspicions arose of “gross insider breach,” according to Swedish website Dagens Industri.

The Swedish Economic Crime Authority not only detained someone from the company but also acquired company equipment. The authorities were seen taking away multiple computers.

This all comes after the news that Stockholm gaming company had filed for reconstruction following the poor sales of Overkill’s The Walking Dead.

There’s no telling just how bad things are at Starbreeze at the current moment, but we can already see that things aren’t good. With a new CEO and the company’s finances on the line, Starbreeze really needs some good luck soon.
