Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order targets 60fps on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

Revealed through WeGotThisCovered, the upcoming game in a galaxy far, far away will allow players to pick between performance and quality modes on enhanced consoles.

After Respawn’s fantastic work with the enhanced version of Titanfall 2, it was a no-brainer that the company would offer some enhanced support for the new consoles. However, with information regarding the title being kept under a tight lid, no one quite knew what that would entail.

Now we do: Fallen Order’s performance mode will allow players to experience the title in a beautiful 60 frames-per-second. The enhanced resolution mode will run the game at 30fps.

According to the website, the upcoming Star Wars title really benefits from that smoother framerate.

A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, a new third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively-driven single player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Star Wars™: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith™. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the iconic lightsaber – all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.
