Star Wars: Battlefront II receives captivating single-player trailer

With a little less than a month until the launch of Star Wars Battlefront II, EA has released a full single-player trailer giving us our best look yet at the game’s story campaign. Buckle up if you’re a Star Wars fan because it looks like EA Motive is taking us on a wild ride throughout the galaxy.

The trailer begins with Iden Versio, the protagonist, appearing to be in Rebel custody and breaking out of her handcuffs with the help of her companion droid. We already know that Inferno Squad was sent on a mission to Endor to wipe out the Rebels just before the second Death Star blew up, but Iden’s journey after that has remained a mystery. We’ve now received glimpses of where she will go and who she will meet, including some very familiar faces.

It appears as if Takodana isn’t just a multiplayer map as we see Maz Kanata’s castle while the Millennium Falcon evades a Tie Fighter. The trailer then cuts to Naboo as AT-ATs are being transported and delivered to its capital city. A previous trailer showed Iden confronting Luke Skywalker, which we saw again, but we also got to see Leia, Maz Kanata, and even a brief clip of Kylo Ren. What role they will all play in the story remains a mystery.

Join the Empire on November 17, 2017 when Star Wars Battlefront II releases on Xbox One. If you can’t wait that long, pick up the Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition to play three days early.
