Ready your blasters! EA has announced that Star Wars Battlefront II’s multiplayer beta has officially been extended two more days until Wednesday, October 11. Initially, it was supposed to end today. This is great news for players who did not have the chance to try it out over the weekend.
I recently wrote a preview of the beta and found that Battlefront II seems to be a huge step up from its predecessor. The amount of added content with the inclusion of more Star Wars eras and some revamped progression systems make it incredibly appealing to fans. The beta includes three multiplayer modes (Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, and Strike), as well as a single-player Arcade mode where players can test out their abilities against AI opponents. None of the dedicated single-player story campaign was available to play.
Star Wars Battlefront II is set to release on November 17, 2017. You can preorder it from Microsoft here.
In other Star Wars news, the newest trailer for The Last Jedi is set to air tonight during Monday Night Football.
