"CPR is simple to do but in the heat of the moment it’s easy for your mind to go blank and that’s where this app will be a vital prompt and guide," says St John Medical Director, Tony Smith.

The app includes simple, user-friendly instructions make the app easy to follow with innovative features such as beeping and vibrating ‘CPR Timing Assist’ to help with consistent chest compressions and instructions can be spoken aloud from your phone.

Other options include Adult, Child and Infant CPR tutorials and the ability to set up your own emergency services phone number (useful as the app is designed for New Zealand).image
