Sprint, a leading network provider in the US, today announced its plans to sell Intel processor based, 5G-connected PCs in stores around the world. At MWC earlier this year, Intel announced that they are working with Dell, HP, Lenovo and Microsoft to bring 5G laptops in the second half of 2019. Today, Intel revealed that Acer and Asus will also be releasing 5G laptops and 2-in-1s in 2019. These Windows PCs will be powered by Intel XMM 8000 series commercial 5G modems.

Intel also highlighted that they will deliver 10 more 4G-connected PCs from partners like Acer, Asus, Dell and HP, in addition to the 25 currently in market.
