Sprint removes picture which suggest better landscape support in HTC Arrive

A week ago when the HTC Arrive was officially announced, the Sprint website showed the picture on the left, suggesting improved landscape support in the landscape slider with NoDo, a weakness in the European device at the moment.

Of course most suggested it was a simple photoshop, since even panoramas which support landscape do not look like that in landscape mode.  It seems that has now been confirmed, with Sprint replacing the graphic with a picture of Bing instead, which does of course already works perfectly well in landscape.

In all likelihood this will be another feature we will have to wait for in the Mango update towards the end of 2011, although of course this has not been officially announced, unlike multi-tasking or IE9.

Thanks k.sean for the tip.
