When you search Google.com for Windows Phone, at the top of your search results your are invited to browse “The Selection at Sprintâ€.
Of course the joke is that Sprint only has one Windows Phone, hardly what one would call “The Selectionâ€, and worse the page the ad directs to has a huge iPhone banner and is otherwise filled with Android phones, with the lone HTC Arrive 13 rows down the page.
While its great to see a carrier spend money on Windows Phone ad words, its pretty sad to see them just use it to poach those interested in the OS for their expensive iPhones.
Of course this was the carrier that suggested Windows Phone users recycle their 6 month old HTC Arrive’s for an iPhone, so maybe it is no surprise at all..
Thanks IllegalOperation for the tip.
