Spotify’s desktop app appears in the Windows Store, but you can’t get it yet

Spotify was announced for the Windows Store when Microsoft announced Windows 10 S and the Surface laptop, and now we’ve seen our first glimpse of it.

A listing for Spotify appeared in the Windows Store over the past week, but you can’t download it yet, and it doesn’t appear to be linked to the current Windows Phone app listing at the moment.

It isn’t any different from the current Windows PC app which you can get now, but you’ll get a nice new tile and easier install, uninstall and upgrade processes.
