Soul Calibur VI announced at The Game Awards 2017

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a new Soul Calibur game at The Game Awards 2017. Soul Calibur VI is set to release in 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A teaser trailer can be seen below.

Little is known about the title other than it will feature the “triumphant return of 3D weapons-based fighting.” Soul Calibur V released over five years ago, so fighting game fans will certainly enjoy this news. This will be the first game in the series specifically built for current-gen systems.
