Jane Wong has used her reverse engineering skills to reveal Snapchat’s latest workings- a Snapcode sticker.
Snapchat codes let users add each other quickly, by simply pointing a phone’s camera at the user’s Snapcode while on the app, and tapping it so it scans.
It’s still the early stages of development, so no design has been displayed as of yet; but here’s the first sighting of the upcoming feature.

It's just a black square for now. When released, it will show the user's snapcode pic.twitter.com/5jFq8JKfN5

The sticker can be added to any Story or Snap, thereby giving more opportunities for publicity, on top of making it faster and more convenient for viewers to subscribe.
There’s no word yet on when the feature is expected to roll out, but perhaps it will be released at the same time as the music sharing feature that’s due to be released soon.
