Snake Rewind, the official Snake game from Taneli Armanto and Rumilus Design recently launched on the Windows Phone Store, Google Play and App Store. Just like the original Snake game, this game is much fun to play indeed. However, there were some issues with controls and the game with the initial launch. Thankfully though, the developers released a new update for the game yesterday, which fixes the control issues. Here’s the changelog:

  • Most common resets fixed
  • Fixed automatic snake direction change when stopping rewind
  • Fixed exit button sometimes not appearing in interstitial ad screen

We’ve recently reviewed the game – for those who missed it, here’s the breakdown of our Snake Rewind review:

The game will feed on your nostalgia. The visuals are good, and the music forgettable. In-app purchases are not draconian by any measure. The controls are just too difficult and buggy, reducing replayability by a big measure. If you are okay with it, this game is for you.

The latest update for Snake Rewind, version 1.0.1.0, is now live on the Windows Phone Store and you can grab it from here.
