Have you ever wanted to help animals, donate to animal welfare charities, enter sweepstakes to win prizes, enjoy new in-game events, and slay a bunch of dragons all at the same time? If yes, you’ll love Elder Scrolls Online’s #SlayDragonsSaveCats charity event.

Elder Scrolls Online has teamed up with GlobalGiving to support Best Friends Animal Society and FOUR PAWS during the #SlayDragonsSaveCats charity event.

Best Friends Animal Society has been running the USA’s largest no-kill sacntuary for companion animals for over 30 years. Their mission is to make sure that every animal, from dogs to cats to horses, birds, rabbits, potbellied pigs, and to all others, will one day have a loving home. For more information, you can visit their website here.

FOUR PAWS is a charity that aims to stop animal abuse, neglect, and exploitation all over the world. Their vision is a world where people treat animals with respect, empathy, and understanding. FOUR PAWS has also been running for over 30 years. You can visit their website here.

All you have to do in order to take part is run around Northern and Southern Elsweyr, slaying every dragon you come across. For those who have the Scalebreaker DLC, you can also find dragons in the Lair of Maarselok.

For every five dragons slain, Elder Scrolls Online will donate $1 to the cause, up to a maximum of $200,000. The #SlayDragonsSaveCats charity event will run until December 9th, 2019, so you have plenty of time to bust out your sword and get slaying!

There are also a whole bunch of in-game events running from now until the end of the year. You can find them all listed below:

  • Dragon Rise (3rd of October until 13th of October)—Explore the home of the Khajiit and complete the Northern Elsweyr Pathfinder Achievement to unlock new collectibles for all Elsweyr owners. Check your progress on the Dragon Rise website and find more info in the announcement article.
