Slack has released a minor new update for its Windows Phone app. There is nothing to get excited about in the update, but it seems to have fixed a pretty annoying issue. According to Slack, the update fixes a bug which caused the app to crash during startup for some users running Windows 10 on their mobile device. If you’re facing this issue, the update should address it.
Fixed: some users who weren’t able to launch the app on Windows Mobile 10 devices now are. Sorry about that.
Apart from that, there isn’t any other change in this update. For those wondering, the Slack app is still in beta despite being launched more than a year ago. Over the past couple of months, the app didn’t receive any major updates which is also quite disappointing. However, Slack has continued to update its classic Win32 app with new features and improvements but the company’s Windows Phone app is still quite limited.
Nevertheless, if you would like to install the latest Slack update on your Windows Phone device, you can get it from the link below.
