Skype screen sharing feature now available on Android and iOS

After testing it with beta users, Microsoft Skype is now rolling out screen sharing feature to all iOS and Android users. Screen sharing allows you to help your elderly parents do something on their smartphone and it enables several other such scenarios. To use this screen sharing feature, start a Skype call, tap the brand new “” menu, and start sharing your screen. Screen sharing is supported on Android 6.0 and above, and iPhone and iPad with iOS 12 and above.

This new update also brings redesigned mobile calling experience. With a single tap, you can dismiss the call controls to enjoy the video call without any obstructions. Another single tap will bring all the controls back.
