Skype now makes connecting with your family members slightly easier

Microsoft is integrating Microsoft Family into Skype today. The company is rolling out a new update to Skype which will make it easier for you to connect with other family members on Skype. With the update, Skype will automatically create a “My Family” group with all of your family members that are connected via Microsoft Family.

It is important to note that My Family will require all of your Microsoft Family members to have the same email address on Skype, which means you may need to get some members of your family to fix their email addresses on Microsoft Family. Apart from that, the My Family group in Skype acts like any other group conversations, where you can start group video calls, share pictures, and more. This also means you will be able to remove certain members from your My Family group if you want to, and you can even leave the group by yourself, too.
