Skype for Linux Alpha 1.7 released with fixes related to behavior of unread messages


Microsoft has released a new update of Skype for Linux users. Skype for Linux Alpha 1.7 comes with fixes related to unread messages and more. Read the full change log below.

Change log:

  • Fixed standard behaviour of unread messages – when opening chat with unread messages, the view will focus on the first unread message. As you scroll, messages will be marked as read.
  • New grid layout of the group calls
  • Fix for application reconnect after it was suspended for longer time
