Skype for iOS gets ready for Valentine’s Day with the latest update


Microsoft today released a pretty sweet update for Skype for iOS. With the latest update, the company added two new features for Valentine’s Day. With the latest update, the company added the new Love Mojis which was announced just yesterday. Additionally, the company also added the ability to send a Valentine’s Day message, which is a pretty sweet addition.

Alongside the new features for Valentine’s Day, Microsoft also introduced the ability to easily open shared Office documents, presentations, spreadsheets in Skype. Here’s the full changelog:

  • Easily open Microsoft Office documents, presentations and spreadsheets that have been shared in Skype.
  • Roses are red, Violets are blue, we’ve got brand new Valentines hearts … just for you.
  • Save a video you’ve received or video message you’ve recorded straight to your Photos.
  • General improvements.
