The program listing suffers from choppy scrolling.
This news will be primarily of interest to our UK readers. A Sky Satellite TV listing apps has just shown up in Marketplace.
The app, by Topperware, allows for 1 week listings, searching for programs and also to activate remote recording if this is already set up on your Sky box.

Unusually for this kind of app, the software is not free, costing £0.99, but at least does come with a free trial.
Unfortunately we have to report the app is not very good, having very poor finger friendliness due to the size of the on-screen elements, slow scrolling in the TV guide, and offering very little value ad.
If does however do what is says on the tin – provide listings and allow remote recording, so it these are the features you need, the app can be found in Marketplace by searching SkyMobile.
