Sky: Children of the Light, another beautiful game from thatgamecompany, is officially out on iOS devices today. It’s free-to-play, so you can get right to spreading light, love, and friendship throughout worlds.

The general concept of Sky: Children of the Light is simple: it’s about playing with others.

You play as one of many Sky Children, who aim to spread hope through a desolate kingdom and return fallen Stars to their constellations.

You can watch a trailer for the game below.

In Sky, you can soar and explore over 7 dreamlike realms, while encountering and socialising with like-minded players from all around the world.

There’s also character customisations, the ability to team up with others, and the option to gift candles of light in order to show appreciation and help nurture friendships.

Jenova Chen, co-founder of thatgamecompany, recently appeared on The Game Informer Show Podcast to confirm that Sky would, eventually, be coming to other platforms.

“It’s capable of coming to anything. It’s just like, where, it naturally fits the best.” Chen told Game Informer.

Chen was unable to tell Game Informer just when Sky would be out on other platforms, but said that “certainly, there will be quite a few platforms this year.”

You can get Sky: Children of the Light on the Apple App Store now.
