The official LG blog has posted this short video demoing the ScanSearch Augmented Reality feature on the LG Optimus 7, which will apparently be exclusive to Vodafone UK.
The video also reveals a new feature – tilting the phone towards the sky will bring up a weather forecast in your area.
With no exposed video API at present, the software, like DLNA, will remain a unique feature of LG’s handsets until either other OEMs copy it, or Microsoft releases new SDKs.
