Shazam’s disappearance from Marketplace has not gone unnoticed. The app, which first decided to hide in the Xbox hub, was finally completely pulled, resulting in numerous users emailing us about its disappearance.
The good news is that the music-tagging app is now back in Marketplace. The build number has remained unchanged at 2.0.0.0, suggesting it was merely the location of the app which was corrected. However for new installs unlimited tagging is now a mere memory, only available for the $5.99 premium version.
Of course soon this will no longer be a problem, with Windows Phone Mango having it all built-in, so Shazam should enjoy their day in the sun while it lasts.
