Popular file sharing app SHAREit was today updated to v1.7.3 for Windows 10 Mobile devices. This update finally brings, amongst other features, support for WIFI Direct, which allows users to transfer files at WIFI speeds without an access point.

The full changelog for version 1.7.3.0 reads:

  •  fix transmission crash with lower version(WP81)
  •  fix scan QRCode crash bug for some device
  • fix some transmission crash with android
  • adaptive UI for complete report on Desktop version
  • optimize UI for transmission page
  • optimize UI for scrollBar 7.
  • bring Wi-Fi Direct feature
