Shadow of the Tomb Raider will reportedly be out this September

Back in December, Square Enix officially announced a new Tomb Raider game with more information to be coming in 2018. Over on Tomb Raider’s website, a message has appeared teasing an event for tomorrow, March 15 at 6AM PT. This is of course the internet, so people have already inspected the HTML on the page and discovered the announcement early.

“tagline”:”Shadow of The Tomb Raider is the climatic finale of Lara’s origin story. Available September 14th 2018″

Unlike Rise of the Tomb Raider, there doesn’t appear to be a timed-exclusivity deal in place as platforms listed for it are Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. As was previously reported, it is being developed by Eidos Montreal instead of Crystal Dynamics, which is now working on an Avengers game.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was accidentally outed in October 2016 when a fan spotted it on someone’s laptop screen while riding the subway.

You can expect more information about Shadow of the Tomb Raider to release tomorrow.

Aside from the game, the new Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander is set to release on Friday, March 16.
