Service outage: Some OneDrive users are unable to access their files

Microsoft’s cloud storage solution is facing an outage today. Some OneDrive users are intermittently unable to access their files stored in the cloud. Microsoft is aware of this issue and working on it to restore it as soon as possible. As per the information posted on Office 365 Service Status site, it might take up to 5 hours for some users to get complete access to their files again.

We’ve restarted and rebalanced a subset of the affected infrastructure to increase service availability. We’re continuing to apply these remedial steps across the remainder of the affected infrastructure, which is expected to take approximately 5 hours.

Microsoft will provide an update on this issue again on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 6:00 PM UTC.
