The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 has had an extremely rocky road to the market, especially on the Vodafone network, where in UK the device has been completely cancelled, despite being exclusive to the network.
It seems this has not stopped Vodafone, which is a global network, launching the device in other countries.
The Xperia X2 has just been launched on Vodafone Spain, and will be available to purchase from Monday next week.
The smartphone will run at EUR 700 without contract but will also be available cheaper on an 18 month contract.
According to Magnus Ahlqvist, general director of Sony Ericsson Iberia, the 8 megapixel handset will remain exclusive to Vodafone for 3 more months following the launch.
