Samsung has launched a new tablet aimed at users with minimal computing needs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8″) 2019. The name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but all you’ll need to know is this is the Galaxy Tab A, and its the only one you’ll be seeing in stores once old stock is cleared away.

The hardware specs of this isn’t exactly awe-inspiring, especially as this device is supposed to be low-cost. The screen is an 8″ TFT WXGA (1280×800) display, it comes with 2 GB of RAm, and the front camera is 2 MP. While this is billed as a media tablet, you’ll have to watch your downloads. This comes with only 32GB of built-in storage, albeit with support for a Mio SD card up to 512GB.

Entertainment wise, Samsung us offering users 2 months of free YouTube and Spotify Premium. Which means you’ll gain access to two of the largest streaming libraries for a minimum of two months. It ships with Android 9.0 Pie, and will be available within weeks.
