Samsung launched its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold with Snapdragon 855 processor and it along with Huawei’s Mate X got the most attention at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The $2000 smartphone has all the latest ingredients that were supposed to put the best one available in the market to shame. The latest report, however, suggests otherwise.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold recently visited the Geekbench database and the score that smartphone was able to manage might be disappointing if you’re planning to become a part of the tiny population(I bet one without the knowledge of maths can count the population).
Samsung SM-F900F which is the global variant of the Galaxy Fold managed only 3418, poor number considering the price and hardware. Its Multi-core score is more disappointing. It managed to get only 9703, way behind smartphones that cost half of its price.
According to the Geekbench data, iPhone XS Max A12 sits on top, following it, Samsung Galaxy S10+, iPhone X A11 Huawei Mate 20. The Samsung Galaxy Fold was able to claim the fifth position.
It’s worth to take note that Geekbench score is also quite popular for fake results and this is more pronounced when we are talking about a smartphone that is yet to come to the market. This is can be true in the case of Samsung Galaxy Fold.Swipe to read more stories and follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook Read comments on full site More Articles from MSPU
