Samsung Galaxy S6 From Verizon And AT&T Won’t Have Microsoft Apps Pre-Installed

As disclosed at Mobile World Congress, Samsung will pre-install OneNote, OneDrive and Skype on the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge as part of their partnership with Microsoft. Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will also come with 100 GB of additional free cloud storage for two years through Microsoft OneDrive, allowing extra storage space.

But the Samsung Galaxy S6 phones sold by Verizon Wireless won’t come with the Microsoft apps and the S6 devices sold through AT&T will come with OneNote and Skype, but not OneDrive. Looks like Microsoft’s deal with Samsung to pre-install apps on flagship devices will not make significant effect as two of the major network operators in the US is not doing so.
