Regional carrier US Cellular in April confirmed they would be carrying a Windows Phone this summer, and now Engadget have managed to get their hands on some US Cellular promotional material which confirms the device is the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, the same handset currently found on Verizon.
The mid-range handset features a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage (with microSD expansion), LTE and NFC support, gyroscope and a five-megapixel autofocus camera with flash and 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera.
While the device is not an HD Windows Phone, its 1 GB of RAM means it will have access to the full range of Windows Phone 8 software, making it a more than reasonable offering for the small carrier.
