Samsung announces updated Notebook 9 Pen with improved S pen, 8th gen Intel CPU and 15 hours of battery life

Samsung today announced the updated Notebook 9 Pen 2-in-1 PC with improved S Pen, latest Intel processors and much better battery life. The Notebook 9 Pen comes with an edge-to-edge diamond cut metal finish for a premium look and feel. And it comes in attractive new Ocean Blue color.

Samsung has also improved the S Pen that comes with the Notebook 9 Pen. It has reduced latency of up to 2x when compared to the previous model. You can also swap in your choice of three different pen tips according to your preference. The new Notebook 9 Pen is powered by 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor to offer improved performance and Samsung claims that it will offer up to 15 hours of battery life.

In terms of connectivity, Samsung has included 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, one USB-C port and one UFS & microSD Combo. It also comes with support for next gen Gigabit WiFi. For great audio experience, Samsung has included speakers tuned by AKG and with new ThunderAmp smart amplifier technology, you can enjoy louder music on your device.

The Notebook 9 Pen will be available in 13” and 15” variants and it will be on sale in the U.S. in 2019.
