Samsung has announced Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus. The new Chromebook 4 lineup is a successor to Samsung’s Chromebook 3.

The Chromebook 4 features 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 display and weighs 2.60lbs, while the Chromebook 4 Plus features a slightly higher resolution display and that is 1920 x 1080, the display size is also bigger than the Chromebook 4 as it has a 15.6-inch panel. The 3.75lbs weight makes the Chromebook 4 Plus a bit heavier too. Another important difference between the two devices is that the Chromebook 4 Plus has two USB C port, while the Chromebook 4 has only one USB C.

Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus share a lot of common internals too. Both of them will be powered by the Intel Celeron N4000 processor coupled with 4 or 6GB of RAM, for graphics performance, they will depend on Intel UHD Graphics 600. They will be available in different storage options — 32 or 64GB of eMMC storage.

The price of Samsung’s Chromebook 4 starts at $230, while the Chromebook 4 Plus starts at $300. Both of them are now available for purchase at Best Buy, Samsung.com, and select retailers.
