Samsung has managed to stay in the news from the last couple of days, thanks to the various tech announcements like new smart TVs, laptops, etc. Adding to the list, Samsung today announced the support for Google Apps on Bixby, its virtual assistant.
While Google has been busy perfecting its own assistant to sustain in the market, Samsung is trying to drive the market towards Bixby. With the latest announcement, Samsung is now allowing users to use Google Apps without relying on Google Assistant. Not only that, but Samsung has also announced that it will add support for Bixby in the upcoming QLED and premium TVs, smart speakers, connected appliances, and robotics platforms. Coming to AI, Samsung has also announced new updates to its Family Hub for smart homes and a refreshed Digital Cockpit for connected vehicle. The company also demonstrated a new line of robotics platform including the Samsung Bot Care, Bot Air, Bot Retail, and GEMS at the event.
Apart from all that, Samsung has also announced a 98-inch QLED 8K TV line equipped with the Quantum Processor 8K chip along with 65-inch, 75-inch, 82-inch, and 85-inch models.
