Rumour: Surface AIO may come in three sizes, next Surface Book won’t have a hinge gap

When Microsoft launched the Surface Book last year, a lot of people were impressed. However, the hinge gap in the Surface Book was pretty annoying. Now, according to a new report, the Surface Book 2 will ditch the hinge gap which should make the device look a lot prettier. Additionally, the report also claims that the Surface All-in-One will come in three different sizes. Microsoft will apparently sell a Full HD variant of the Surface AIO which will sport a 21-inch display. Alongside the Full HD variant, there will be two other variants which will pack 4K displays — one of which will come in at 24-inches, while the other will have a 27-inch display.

For now, we don’t really know a lot about the Surface Book 2 or the Surface AIO. It’s already pretty obvious that the next gen of Surface devices will pack Intel’s new Kaby Lake processors, and we also know that the Surface AIO is targeted for the living room. Apart from that, there hasn’t been many rumors about the upcoming Surface devices yet.

It is worth noting that Microsoft will be introducing a new Surface device this year, probably somewhere around September. As for the other upcoming Surface devices, we’ll probably see their launch in 2017 alongside Windows 10 Redstone 2.
