Rumour: Lumia 940 and 940 XL to be made of polycarbonate, cost more than the iPhone 6

More detail leaked regarding the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile flagships, the Lumia 940 and 940 XL.
The leaked specs are the same as previously announced, except according to them both the Lumia 940 and 940 XL will have Iris scanners.
The specs are as follows:

To me the one feature that stands out is that Microsoft’s new flagships will me made of polycarbonate, which is an unusual choice when premium handsets currently are almost universally made of metal.
This choice is particularly worrying in view of the next titbit – that the devices will be priced higher than the Samsung Galaxy S6 (from 599, -) and iPhone 6 (from 699, –). Now I am sure true Windows Phone fans will be willing to pay the premium, and the handset certainly has the technology to match, but I suspect the price will prevent any significant sales volume.
The source also reports that the handset will support Continuum, and that Microsoft will be releasing an adaptor in early 2016 for a rather steep 100 Euros which will enable to feature.
The handsets are expected to be released rather late, in November this year.
