Rumour: Hackers take charge of Cortana’s online database

Rumor: You'll soon be able to customise Cortana with external service

Microsoft recently launched Cortana in Italy. Just several days after the launch, an Italian hacker team has posted a video showing how it’d be possible to add custom questions/features to Cortana. As you may already know, Cortana is mostly powered by the powerful databases and the personal assistant receives the ‘responses’ from an online databases.  Using some kind of “proxy” service the Italian hackers are able to filter out and edit responses given by the digital agent.

The Italian hacker team, OrangeSec has published a video showing off a custom question. So make sure to take a look:

Keep in mind that it isn’t official and it just might be something that Microsoft is still working on. The video does seem to be real, and gets a 8 rumor rating. How much would you rate the rumor?
